A sunshine day, my birthday. Thanks mum, thanks dad. This is your day. And thanks, Splashees, for the very touching birthday card. You made my day blindingly brilliant. Almost moved me to tears.
That bright start set the tone for the rest of the day. A cartoonist waxed lyrical about monster ideas. That sounded like a birthday song to me. I could not help smiling at the examples he shared.
The day ended with a full house session staged by an incredibly fat self made designer who literally had his creative cake and ate it. It seemed every day is birthday to him.
Dinner was quite a search. It was all worth the while when the portly sweet waitress at Hard Rock Cafe overwhelmed us with her uplifting “Sure” to almost every request we had. We had nothing to disagree with.
Altogether a sun-kissed day.
